Private wheelthrowing workshop

Beschrijving van de dienst

Create your own unique cup or bowl by learning the techniques for throwing ceramics on the pottery wheel. It will be a super fun and playfull 1 on 1 session, so plenty of personal attention to get you started on your wheelthrowing journey! I will take you through the proces from preparing the clay to centering and coning, pulling the walls and shaping your cup or bowl. Once you are happy with your piece there is the option to either book a follow up session to trim your piece (on another day when it's dry enough but not too dry) and paint/glaze it (after it has been fired in the kiln). Or I can glaze it for you. I will fire your pieces in a professional kiln twice and you will end up with a fully functional and foodsafe cup or bowl that you can enjoy and admire everyday. What is included: - A cup of tea or water or homemade kombucha - All materials (clay, tools, glaze etc.) - Personal guidance - Firing twice in the kiln
